Phi Chi was founded on March 31, 1889 and known to be one of the oldest pre-health fraternities in the world and having numerous chapters throughout the nation. Our chapter continues to grow in its foundation of mentorship, leadership, and success–both in business and beyond.
Phi Chi Pre-Health Honor Society at UCI is a student-led, inclusive organization dedicated to supporting future healthcare professionals. We offer mentorship, development opportunities, and meaningful service while fostering a strong, uplifting community on campus and beyond.

Words from our President
Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Future Members,​​

Phi Chi began as only an idea with a vision, to provide a different perspective on what a pre-health organization could look like at UC Irvine. I wanted to help create a space where students from a variety of backgrounds, united by a shared interest in healthcare and service, could come together to support one another, grow as individuals, and contribute meaningfully to our community. With the support of an extraordinary team, we established Phi Chi to be just that, a space built on collaboration, ambition, and integrity.

As the Founding President, I hold the highest expectations for Phi Chi. These standards are not based on titles or tradition, but on the belief that if we commit to each other and our shared mission, we are capable of achieving great things. I do not view my role as one of delegation alone. I believe that leadership is built upon the support of those around you, because without a dedicated team, leadership cannot truly exist.

With experience in a range of leadership roles and exposure to many areas within the pre-health field, I have come to understand that the most impactful ideas often come from the combination of different voices working together. Though we are a young and relatively small organization, I am continuously inspired by the ambition, drive, and talent within our members. We are a team of individuals who are not only passionate about healthcare but also committed to lifting each other up and turning big ideas into action.

I am honored to work alongside our vice presidents, program directors, and members as we strive to build something lasting, something that genuinely makes a difference. Thank you to everyone who has contributed their time, energy, and belief in this mission. Your support has brought this vision to life, and I am truly grateful.
